Volume contains the Civil War diary of Corporal Edward Barnett of the 74th Ohio Volunteer Infantry while serving in Tennessee. Includes a description of the Battle of Murfreesboro, Tenn., picket and detail lists, and mess accounts that may have been attributed to Thomas and James Barnett whose names appear on the first page. Seven calling cards are enclosed in back pocket.
